Calendar: Today’s calendar was led by Eric. Great job Eric!
Phonics: Today, students reviewed the “Ar/ar” sound, letters,
and song. After this, Zane, Ronan, and Veer completed their Show and Share.
Thank you for bringing in an item with your assigned sound!

information.
Journal: Today students wrote journal entries about some of
their favourite summer activities. Students also had the opportunity to read
their journal entries to the class. Students did a great job sharing their
writing with an audience.
Lunch/ Recess 1
Unit of Inquiry: On Monday, students will be starting their collage
project for our unit about different feelings. Students will be provided with
some magazines and newspapers in order to cut out words and pictures for their
collages. If you have any extra magazines or newspapers at home that can be
used, please send them to school on Monday.
Famous PEOPLE Players: We had so much fun attending a performance at
Famous PEOPLE Players!! This was an interactive experience that involved
singing and dancing. Students also had the opportunity to use some of the
puppets following the show. Thank you to our volunteers for joining us in a
fun-filled afternoon!
