Math: Today, students reviewed the terminology we have
used in measurement including: length, height, distance, surface area,
capacity, and weight. Students also discussed how we compare these measurements
including terms such as long and short, tall and small, near and far, cover,
full and empty, and heavy and light. Students are preparing for their test next
Thursday on May 10.
Arts Night Rehearsal: Today, students rehearsed their song “It’s a
Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood.”
Unit of Inquiry: Today, students measured the growth of our
class plants. Students have been excited to see the changes over time, and how
new sprouts continue to poke out of the soil.
