Phonics: Today, students were introduced to the “er” sound,
letters, and song. Students watched a video called “Geraldine learns the /er/
sound.” After this, students brainstormed a list of words that contain the “er”
sound.
Lunch/ Recess 1
Arts Night Rehearsal: Today, students rehearsed their song “It’s a
Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood.” Students are encouraged to bring in any
props that they need in order to practice the actions during our song.
Math: Today, students were introduced to our new math unit
about Geometry. Students completed an activity to demonstrate their prior
knowledge about shapes and positions (top, bottom, left, right, middle).
