Good evening,

Calendar: Today’s calendar was led by Bryana. Great job Bryana!

Phonics: Today, students reviewed the “ue” sound, letters, and song. Students also reviewed spelling words in preparation for our class Spelling Bee on Friday May 11.

Lunch/ Recess 1

Arts Night Rehearsal: Today, students rehearsed their song “It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood.” Students are encouraged to bring in any props that they need in order to practice the actions during our song.

Math: Today, students reviewed putting objects in order from shortest to tallest and from smallest to biggest. Students also asked questions from the review to have clarification on any misconceptions or challenging concepts.

Lunch/ Recess 2

Unit of Inquiry: Today, students read a book called "A Letter For Maria." Students discussed the different feelings that the characters expressed. Students talked about how we can be impacted by how others feel as well. Students also worked on cooperative activities in their table groups.
