Calendar: Today’s calendar was led by Zayn. Great job Zayn!
Phonics: Today, students were introduced to the “ue” sound,
letters, and song. Students watched a video called “Geraldine learns the /ue/
sound.” After this students brainstormed a list of words that contain the “ue”
sound.
French: Please see Mlle Jessica’s blog for more
information.
Spelling: Today, students practiced the format of the Spelling
Bee. Students are gaining confidence in spelling words aloud. Students are
encouraged to continue to practice the spelling list in preparation for our
class Spelling Bee on Friday May 11.
Lunch/ Recess 1
Math: Today, students reviewed capacity and practiced
identifying which containers were “full” or “empty.” Students are preparing for
their test on Thursday May 10.
Arts Night Rehearsal: Today, students rehearsed their song “It’s a
Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood.”
