Good evening,
Music: Please see Mrs. Hayward’s blog for more
information.
Calendar: Today’s calendar was led by Jack. Great job Jack!
French: Please see Mlle. Jessica’s blog for more information.
Phonics: Today, the students reviewed the “H/h” and “R/r”
sounds, actions and songs. Then Eric, Ahaan, Sianna, and Mateo presented their
Show and Share to the class. Thank you for bringing in an item with your
assigned sound!
Lunch/ Recess 1
Math: Today students had the opportunity to
create sound and action patterns. Students took turns being the leader who
created the pattern core. Then each student in the circle repeated the pattern
core. We had some very creative pattern-makers! Next week we will begin to
explore patterns with more than one attribute.
Unit of Inquiry: Knowledgeable Learner Profiles: Today we read a story about Officer
Buckle and his police dog Gloria. Students brainstormed what it means to be
knowledgeable, and discussed how Officer Buckle was knowledgeable in the story. Then students completed an activity to add to their IB Learner Profiles.
Lunch/ Recess 2
Gym: Please see Mrs. Jan’s blog for more information.
