Calendar: Today’s calendar was led by Zayn. Great job Zayn!

Phonics: Today students reviewed the “M/m” sound, actions,
and songs. Students then completed a worksheet to practice recognizing and
writing words with the “M/m” sound.
Lunch/ Recess 1: Thank you for your contributions and
participation in the Bake Sale! There are still treats that will be available
tomorrow if students wish to participate.
Math: Students reviewed the pattern
terminology that we have been using such as the pattern core, attributes, and
how to name patterns using letters. Today, students were introduced to ABCD
patterns. Students completed an activity where they created patterns using
snapcubes. Students are creating more complex patterns in the classroom!
Unit of Inquiry: Students conducted a
Pumpkin Investigation when we cut open our pumpkin today. Students described what
our pumpkin was like on the outside, as well as on the inside. Students also
estimated how many seeds would be in the pumpkin. Stay tuned as we count how
many seeds our pumpkin contains!
