Calendar: Today’s calendar was led by Zane. Great job Zane!
Phonics: Today, students reviewed the “or”
sound, letter, and song. Students completed an activity that allowed them to
practice identifying words that contain the “or” sound.

Journals: Today, students completed
a reflection to share their learning from our Unit of Inquiry about Community
Helpers. Students used words and pictures to express their ideas.
Lunch/ Recess 1
Math: Today, students practiced
telling time to the hour. Students practiced moving the hands on an analog
clock to display the time of various activities throughout the day. Students
also practiced matching the time on an analog and digital clock.
Unit of Inquiry: Students did a fabulous
job with their Community Helper Presentations! Each presenter was well-prepared
and confident about their information. They also answered questions from their
peers about the role of their community helper. We are fortunate to have kind
and compassionate helpers in our community!
