Calendar: Today’s calendar was led by Krish. Great job Krish!

Phonics: Today, students reviewed the “ng” sound, letters, and song. Students completed an activity to practice identifying and printing words that contain the “ng” sound.





Lunch/ Recess 1

Unit of Inquiry: Today, students conducted an investigation into stars. Students recited the poem “Star Light, Star Bright.” After this, students wrote about their own wish. Students also created a diagram of the Big Dipper.






Math: Today, students reviewed telling time on both an analog and digital clock. Students are also recalling that we write “3:00” or “3:30” even though the minute hand is pointing to the 12 and the 6. Today, students worked in teams to practice recording the digital time when shown an analog clock. Please continue to work through the review package that has been sent home to practice for the upcoming test on February 23rd.
