Good evening,
Calendar: Today’s calendar was led by Mateo. Great job Mateo!
Phonics: Today,
the students reviewed the Long “Ee/Ea” sound, action and song. We also
rehearsed our song “A Porcupine in a Pine Tree” for the Christmas Concert.
French: Please see Mlle. Jessica’s blog for more
information.
Journals: Today,
students drew pictures and completed a journal entry to describe what their
family does in winter.
Lunch/ Recess 1
Math: Today students reviewed
how to interpret information in bar graphs, and to find the total for each
column. Students are recalling that they start filling in the graph at the
bottom, and how to determine which choice is more or less popular. If
additional
information
is collected, students are able to describe how this changes the graph.
Unit of Inquiry: Students were excited to
participate in our Popcorn Sensory Activity. They were able to describe the
popcorn using their five senses. They especially enjoyed discovering how the
popcorn tasted.
Lunch/ Recess 2
Gym: Please see Mrs. Jan’s blog for more
