Phonics: Today, the students were introduced to the Long “A/a” sound, action and song. Students watched a video called “Geraldine learns the /a_e/ sound.” Students brainstormed words that contain the Long “A/a” sound.

Lunch/ Recess 1

Math: Today students practiced creating yes/no questions for a survey. Students used a chart and tally marks to record their findings.

Unit of Inquiry: Today students discussed the sense of smell. They also identified different parts of the nose.
