Calendar: Today’s calendar was led by Bryana. Great job Bryana!

Phonics: Today, students reviewed the “Qu/qu” sound, letters, and song. Students completed an activity to practice identifying and printing words that contain the “Qu/qu” sound.

Lunch/ Recess 1

Reading Buddies: Students enjoyed having an opportunity to engage in shared reading with their Grade 5 Reading Buddy. Students in our class take turns listening to their partner, as well as reading to the Grade 5 Reading Buddies.

Math: Today, students compared objects by deciding which objects were longer and which objects were shorter. Students recorded their findings in their math books.

Unit of Inquiry: Today, students created a Spring Garden through a cut and paste activity. Students determined which items belong in a garden, including plants and insects and which items do not belong in a garden.
