Calendar: Today’s calendar was led by Ronan. Great job Ronan!
Phonics: Today, students reviewed
the “Sh/sh” sound, letters, and song. Students used playdough to form these
letters and words that contain the “Sh/sh” sound.

Journals: Today students wrote
journals with the sentence prompt: “Today I feel ______ because ______ .”
Students are demonstrating reasoning by providing an explanation for their
feelings or ideas.
Lunch/ Recess 1
Math: Today, students were
introduced to the toonie, and practiced counting by 2s. Students completed an
activity to practice counting how many dollars they have in toonies, as well as
drawing the correct number of toonies to represent a certain amount of money.
Unit of Inquiry: Today, students created
their own solar system by designing their own planets. Students demonstrated a
lot of creativity in this art project!
