Calendar: Today’s calendar was led by Armaan. Great job Armaan!

Literacy: Today, students read a book called “Sea Shapes.” We
learned about different sea creatures, and also reviewed shapes in preparation
for the math test tomorrow. Students also created their own Sea Shape picture.
Lunch/ Recess 1
Math: Students are reviewing key concepts for their
Geometry Test tomorrow. Today, students practiced identifying 2D shapes by
recording the number of sides and the number of corners for each shape.
Unit of Inquiry: Today, we traced 3 students, and created a
collaborative project that represented each member of the table groups.
Students used colours, pictures, and words to represent their group. After
this, students rotated to the other groups to write positive messages to the
other groups. Great work SK students!!

Track and Field: Congratulations to Zane,
Ronan, and Mateo who represented St. Jude’s Academy at the Inter-School Track
and Field Competition at The Maples Academy.
