Presentation: Today, students went and viewed the Grade 10 Projects on display in the auditorium. Students had an opportunity to go around and view the projects, as well as ask questions to the presenters. Students demonstrated curiosity and asked some great questions!

Calendar: Today’s calendar was led by Ahaan. Great job Ahaan!



Lunch/ Recess 1

Phonics: Today, students were introduced to the “Y/y” sound, letter, and song. Students watched a video called “Geraldine learns the /y/ sound.” After this, students brainstormed a list of words that contain the “Y/y” sound.



Unit of Inquiry: Today, students added two planets to our model of the solar system. Students created both Mars and Jupiter today. Students discussed how Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system. They also talked about the “red spot” on Jupiter.
