Phonics: Today, students reviewed
the “Sh/sh” sound, letters, and song. Students completed an activity to
practice identifying and printing words that contain the “sh” sound.
Lunch/ Recess 1
Math: Today, students were
introduced to the loonie, and practiced counting by 1s. Students completed an
activity to practice counting how many dollars they have in loonies, as well as
drawing the correct number of loonies to represent a certain amount of money.
Unit of Inquiry: Today, students completed
a picture an “I know chart” at the end of our unit. Students demonstrated a
growing understanding of the planets, the sun, the moon, and stars in our solar
system. Great work!
